Thank you for visiting the Lucid Community! The Community’s goal is to provide a platform that fosters creativity and collaboration and helps users find solutions, regardless of skill level or use case. We expect all posts and comments to support this goal by 1) remaining relevant to Lucid products, 2) respecting other users, and 3) refraining from vulgar, inappropriate, or negative language. Posts that violate these criteria will be removed.

Thanks for being a part of our community and keeping it a safe, constructive space.

Honest question: Does "negative language" include language that is critical towards LucidChart and their product decisions?

Because 6 days before this was posted, I mentioned to a LucidChart product owner that critical comments about a recent LucidChart change had been abruptly deleted from this community. Those comments had no inappropriate or foul language. I believe myself and another user called a recent change "useless" and "frustrating." Those comments were deleted.

So is the implication here that those types of comments are "negative" and therefore not allowed?

Hi Caitlin, thanks for posting here. We value customer feedback, especially when we make changes to our products, and we want our community to be a place where we can receive honest feedback - both positive and negative. Regarding changes to the product in particular, our product team is highly committed to extensive testing and evaluation and seeks the opportunity to learn from users directly about how such changes impact their work. We certainly want to know if your experience is "useless" or "frustrating." However, the Community's ultimate goal is to help users collaborate and find solutions to their product and account issues, so if a thread has become so negative that it is no longer constructive or helpful for others, then it will be removed for negativity.
