Bar Graph

I am not able to move between fields in the Bar Graph Function. I can type in a title, but can't move from there or I can type in one of the values for the range but can't move to the other fields.

Thanks for posting in the community.

Bar graphs are intended to be edited by modifying or replacing the data set they are linked to. You will not be able to move or resize elements by clicking and dragging.

If you are having trouble formatting your bar graph within the data edit menu, can you please send me a screenshot of what you are seeing? Thank you!

Hi there, thanks for your question. The shape shown in your screenshot is part of the "UI Mockups" shape library which means it is not editable. The functionality you are looking for is part of the "Dynamic Shapes" shape library. You can find more information on how to access these shapes as well as how to link your data to them in the Visualize Data with Dynamic Shapes Help Center article.

Hi Eric, Thanks for the reply, I have tried from the link you provided, but they are only status bar types. I am trying to plot a Bar graph with table values like Excel charts

The feature shown in the video has been replaced by the dynamic shapes feature recently and we now recommend to use the “Progress Bar” shape, as it is flexible and can be used in a variety of ways.

To create a bar graph, drag the data row onto the progress shape. Then select “shape data” from the drop down, after which you will be able to select data values from the linked data. Make sure to use the same maximum value for all bars in your graph, as this will make them proportional to each other. I would recommend using the biggest value in your data as the maximum value, as seen in the gif below.
