Removing Lines and Changing Levels in Org Charts

I would like to inquire about the possibility of removing reporting lines in org charts - is it possible to stack employees on top of each other without it automatically defaulting a a reporting structure?

Also, I would like to see if we can make different tiers throughout the same level in a chart - for example, If there's an SVP and a VP both reporting to an EVP, I would like the VP's box to be lower than the SVP, since those are not the same role level.

Hi Courtney,

Thanks for reaching out. Unfortunately, removing reporting lines is not currently supported in Lucidchart. However, we're always looking for ways to improve Lucidchart, and your feedback is the best way for us to do that. Would you mind adding your idea to our feature request form? Ideas submitted to this form are passed on to the product development team for their consideration.

Additionally, it is not possible to add different tiers within the same level of an org chart. For a potential work-around, this layout style highlighted in blue may help you create the appropriate structure.

However, if this isn't a perfect solution, please feel free to add an additional request through the above form. Let us know if we can do anything else to help. Thanks!
