Hi Dave, thanks for posting! If you make your document a template, any pages in that template that have conditional formatting rules applied will still have those rules applied on those pages in any child documents. But similar to in a normal document, any new pages that are created won't have the rules automatically applied, though they will be listed as being present in the document. There currently isn't a way to apply conditional formatting automatically to a whole document. If you would find that feature useful you can promote it to our product team by filling out this feature request form. I apologize for any inconvenience this causes and thanks for your request!
Conditional Formatting Rules - How can I make all rules 'global'?
So I've got an Org chart document with dozens of conditional formatting rules.
I created some of these on the first page, others on the 2nd, 3rd, or 10th page.
Now I'm happy with the way it works (the overall product), and I want to convert this into a template, but I want ALL the rules to be automatically inherited by all pages of any child document.
HOw do I accomplish this?
